smpeg-xmms (0.3.5-5.1) unstable; urgency=low

  * Porter NMU.
  * Update config.guess/config.sub. (Closes: #319920).

smpeg-xmms (0.3.5-5) unstable; urgency=low

  * Remove xlibs-pic from Build-Depends.
  * Add src/Makefile.in to the touch goop which should work around slow
    buildds wanting to run auto*. (Closes: Bug#207006)

 -- Joe Drew <drew@debian.org>  Sun, 24 Aug 2003 11:06:44 -0400

smpeg-xmms (0.3.5-4) unstable; urgency=low

  * Touch aclocal.m4, Makefile.in, config.h.in, stamp-h.in and configure,
    in that order, before running configure, in order to work around the huge
    number of patches to the auto* files, which on slow machines makes
    automake want to run various autotools since files are changed in the
    "wrong" order.
  * Revert *_LIBS_FOR_PLUGINS changes, since those have gone the way of the
    dodo.

 -- Joe Drew <drew@debian.org>  Sun, 24 Aug 2003 01:44:32 -0400

smpeg-xmms (0.3.5-3) unstable; urgency=low

  * Re-run auto* with fixed SMPEG m4 macros (Closes: Bug#197002)
  * Update to Standards-Version 3.6.1; update debian/rules to properly
    support DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS for this policy version.

smpeg-xmms (0.3.5-2) unstable; urgency=low

  * Depend on XMMS (Closes: Bug#152794)

 -- Joe Drew <drew@debian.org>  Fri,  6 Dec 2002 00:21:31 -0500

smpeg-xmms (0.3.5-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * This version extra-specially uploaded with only an hppa binary. How do you
    like them apples, i386-only people? Your turn to wait!
  * New upstream version (Closes: Bug#128660)
  * debian/control: change build-depends to libsmpeg-dev >= 0.4.4-7, since
    that's the release that links libstdc++ into smpeg
  * src/Makefile.am: Modify libsmpeg_xmms_la_LIBADD macro to remove SDL
    libraries and use only SMPEG_LIBS_FOR_PLUGINS
      + This makes sure that Xv and its ilk's non _pic.a friends don't get
        linked in alongside the _pic.a variants of the libraries.
  * Run libtoolize -f -c, so libtool doesn't assume we're using libc 2.1.1
    (since it doesn't recognise things like mips and m68k) and bail out on
    us. (Closes: Bug#127969)
  * aclocal ; autoconf ; automake

smpeg-xmms (0.3.4-7) unstable; urgency=medium

  * The "I can't believe I did that" release.
  * Corrected build-depends on libsmpeg-dev to >= 0.4.4-5, not 0.4.3-5. I
    even thought to myself as I wrote out the build-depends "ooo, better be
    careful here, wouldn't want to get that wrong or the whole thing is
    useless."
    This may well fix the build problems on other architectures, but I'm not
    positive. Time will tell.

smpeg-xmms (0.3.4-6) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Re-run automake with automake 1.4 as is now the default; Remove `depcomp'
    as it was required for automake 1.5, but not 1.4.
  * configure.in: change sdl-config --libs to sdl-config --plugin-libs
  * aclocal; automake --foreign; autoconf
  * debian/control: Update Build-Dependencies:
     * libsdl1.2-dev (>= 1.2.2-3.3) (for --plugin-libs)
     * libsmpeg-dev (>= 0.4.3-5) (for --plugin-libs)
     * add xlibs-pic (for plugin-compatible libraries)
  * Recompiling with new SDL, which updates dependencies properly.
    Closes: Bug#123025
  * This version should compile and function on all architectures. Porters,
    please check this.

smpeg-xmms (0.3.4-5) unstable; urgency=low

  * Recompile against new SDL and SMPEG packages. (Closes: Bug#115512)
  * Update config.guess and config.sub.
  * Add depcomp and update missing
  * Change += to = in src/Makefile.am to make the new automake or GNU make
    happy
  * Update AC_CHECK_LIB calls in configure.in to ensure that we don't get
    unresolved symbols when linking against SDL, and to make sure we don't
    accidentally pull in SDL when checking other libraries
  * Change Debian/GNU Linux to Debian GNU/Linux in copyright file
  * Remove emacs variables in changelog
  * It's unknown whether this package will work at all on systems which do
    not allow static code to be linked into shared libraries; it is a .so
    plugin for xmms, but xmms itself is not linked against SDL, and so the
    Xv symbols go unresolved
